Dr. Parikh has practiced Endocrinology in the New York metro area for more than 10 years. She is a compassionate physician who believes in empowering patients in making medically appropriate decisions that best fits their lifestyle and culture. She specializes in treating hormone disorders through the lifespan. Her clinical expertise is in treatment of diabetes, thyroid disease, disorders of pituitary and adrenal gland, osteoporosis and polycystic ovary syndrome. She has special interest in hormone disorder in pregnancy and transgender medicine. She has published and presented research on a variety of topics including PCOS, reproductive hormone physiology and diabetes education.
Dr. Parikh was trained in Endocrinology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and worked as a faculty member at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NY. She had been in private practice for the last four years in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. She has been a long time Bergen county resident who is involved with many local non profit organizations like Alpine Learning Group in Paramus and Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative in Hackensack.
